On September 7th and 8th, professionals of the promotional gifts and garments industry have gathered on Premium Sourcing tradeshow at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
With 1915 visitors over the two days, the tradeshow recorded an increase of 9,2% in attendance, compared to the previous year. The 124 exhibitors who came to present their new year-end collections praised this increased number of visitors, as well as the quality of the discussions.
“At the end of Premium Sourcing 2022, we were pleased to see the actors of the promotional gifts and garments ecosystem united and focused on the common objectives of an efficient and responsible supply chain to deliver services, promotional gifts and textiles with an increased added value. This edition was a real success, and we had a real pleasure to exchange with the many visitors and to see the quick recovery of our market thanks to its excellent resilience.” said Antony Villéger, President of 2FPCO (Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Communication par l’Objet)
Visitors were also able to attend a rich and varied programme, led by experts from European Sourcing, 2FPCO and C!mag magazine. Made in France, education and formation to corporate gifts and garments professions, sales support tools for eco-responsible gifts, digital marketing trends and marketing automation were on the conference agenda, while two round tables bringing together market players provided an opportunity to debate the topics of made in Europe and connected objects.
Another essential area of the trade show, the Print Live, hosted by the printing machines distributor Must Technologie, was once again on the agenda. On this occasion, visitors (re)discovered the possibilities offered by two printing techniques: DTF, on Fruit of the Loom T-shirts, and UV Led printing, on key rings supplied by Passot Innovation. This area dedicated to personalization is highly appreciated by visitors who, in addition to expert advice about printing techniques, can personalize the products in real time.
The 2022 key products catalog, an essential tool that visitors picked up at the tradeshow, references the new products and bestsellers for the end of the year. Among the key products presented by exhibitors, eco-responsible gifts, very much in demand by buyers, are ever more present. Backpacks made from recycled plastic bottles, recyclable badges, heating jackets made from corn fiber, eco-responsible bodywarmer, plant-based support, bottles made in France, recycled mouse pads: the offer of eco-responsible gifts and garments is now exhaustive on the tradeshow.
In addition, Premium Sourcing is also engaged in a “work in progress” CSR strategy. The organizing team has favored local service providers (Île-de-France) to reduce the impact of transportation and worked closely with the exhibition center, service providers and subcontractors, as well as all exhibitors, to optimize the waste sorting.
Premium Sourcing is back on 6 and 7 September 2023, still at the Carrousel du Louvre!
