Serge Birecki, president of the Les Spécialistes group, answers our questions in the context of their participation in the Premium Sourcing trade show on 1 and 2 September at the Carrousel du Louvre.
Can you introduce the Specialists in a few words?
Les Spécialistes is the leading French consortium of 21 European manufacturers recognised for their expertise in the business gift industry.
We are a local European grouping with a regional base.
What new products will you present at Premium Sourcing?
Our manufacturers are specialised in the main fields of activity of the business gift industry: writing, textile accessories, golf accessories, calendars, diaries, textiles, POS, goodies, electronics, leather goods, luggage, metal designers, watches, trophies, plants, candies, office accessories, sports accessories.
In a spirit of continuous progress, each of our members has strengthened its CSR strategy with eco-designed and locally manufactured products (POS, caps, key rings, watches, trophies, luggage, calendars, etc.).
In addition, the Specialists are members of the UN Global Compact programme. The largest international initiative of voluntary commitment to sustainable development.
What do you expect from Premium Sourcing this year / Why is it important for you to be present at the trade show?
Our presence at Premium Sourcing is essential in this very special autumn. We have done our best to welcome our clients in a “Les Spécialistes” village in the heart of the show. Our stand has been designed to welcome them in compliance with current standards but also to have a good time with us.
We are happy to meet our customers again and we are looking forward to strengthening our ties with them, because even if we have met them “virtually” over the last few months, thanks to CTCO Pulse in particular, there is no substitute for a physical meeting.
This will obviously be an opportunity for us to present our new products in order to prepare for the end of the year.
