Review of the 2017 event

The 7th edition of the corporate gifts, promotional objects and garments trade fair, which took place on September 6th and 7th at Docks en Seine in Paris, convened 1,746 visitors over a two-day period, maintaining 2016 numbers. The 120 exhibitors praised the calibre of the visitors and the trade exchanges.

As it has done for the last 7 years, Premium Sourcing kicked off the last quarter of the year for the corporate gifts, promotional objects and garments market. This 7th edition confirmed the full growth and relevance of this unmissable event of the season.

On the visitors’ side

Premium Sourcing convened 1,746 visitors over a two-day period, almost the same number compared to 2016. They were, for the most part, composed of promotional object and garment distributors (80.56%), but also communication agencies (10.27%) and small format markers/printers (9.17%).

On the exhibitors’ side

All the market leaders were present at Premium Sourcing: 120 suppliers of promotional products, garments and corporate gifts showcased their end-of-year collections. Among them, 23 new exhibitors participated for the first time including Caran d’Ache, Lexon, Poul Willumsen, Serigraf Ball and Zintex.

They all expressed their appreciation for the quality of visitors, from the largest French promotional products distributors (as well as major fabric marking companies), and the wealth of the exchanges. This augurs well for the last quarter of the year, a crucial period for the market.

Activities

The visitors were able to enjoy the Pick&Meet activity, which allowed them to benefit from welcome offers at the stands of exhibitors participating in the campaign (coupons, free delivery, free samples, etc.).

They were also enchanted with the two Print Live customization areaswhere they were able to witness the live creation of powerful communication supports. Visitors chose a design, watched the printing of an object or a garment, received expert advice and left with their product. In the “Object customization” area, our partner Mimaki printed pocket mirrors supplied by the exhibitor PF Concept. In the “Garment customization” area, our partner Must Technologie, exclusive distributor of Kornit machines in France, customized Fruit of the Loom T-shirts.

In these two areas, the visitors were thus able to discover all the potential benefits that digital printing could offer their businesses.
